Kit Building

If you don’t fancy tackling that kit, let me build it for you. Whitemetal, etched brass, chassis, complete locos, wagons, coaches – whatever your desires.

A limited number of commissions are available each year, so contact me for price and timescales.

Due to personal circumstances I am currently unable to take on commission work at this time, sorry

  1. Hi, Peter from RMweb here. (Crawford is where I live). I want to ask if you could build an Ace Kit or two- how much does it cost?

P.S. Could you give me your track plan with the dimensions, please? The PDF is great but the dimensions for the on-scene is 12ft whilst it should be less than that (to include a fiddle yard) so I’m a bit confused as to how long the fiddle yard is.

    • HI Peter,

not currently taking commission work, sorry>i’ll add a note to the website to that effect. Which layout are you referring to? Summat Colliery has an approx 4ft 2″ sector plate fiddle yard so that the sector plate is 4ft long. Fourgig East has a 3ft fiddle/shed board.
